Margaret Gibson Wehr is a folk pop artist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her original music centers on themes of learning what it is to love, the illusory art of personal growth, and the importance of introspection and self-discovery.
Her ethereal vocals and rhythmic guitar stylings have an Allison Krauss meets Joni Mitchell quality - an edgy sweetness with soulful inflection, and thoughtful lyrics woven into catchy melodies. In addition to her solo project, she performs with local bands Moorea Masa & the Mood, Y La Bamba, and Promise the Moon.
Very special guest: Daisy O'Connor
In response to her quarter life crisis, singer-songwriter Daisy O’Connor quit her career in social work and hit the road to write songs, live simply, and “do be do” what she loves today.
“Music saved my life, reaching my darkest moments and reminding me I’m not alone. I want to shine that light back.” An engaging, humorous, and candid performer, Daisy prefers to perform solo - folksinger style- and tours as much as she can, always taking the road less travelled.
Daisy’s debut full length album “Lightchasers” (released February 2017) mixes indie folk, rock, psych, americana, country and pop into a soothing groove that’s all her own: quirky, captivating, cleverly queer, and crooning.
Kendall Core is a singer-songwriter who writes raw emotional lyrics of self-reflection and overcoming, carried through beautifully haunting vocal melodies. She will be backed by a full band with Anna Tivel on fiddle, Joshua Simon on bass, and Buddy Weeks on drums. Their upcoming gothic-americana album 'Crazy Dog' is set to be released in the fall.
